Kitchen Renovation, Darley Dale, Derbyshire

Removal of all existing plaster, sand blasted timber ceiling beams and removal of all existing York stone flags from floor. The electrics for new kitchen were all installed and complete new plumbing to accommodate new kitchen layout. Under floor heating installed running from central heating system before relaying existing natural stone floor onto new concrete screed.
The entire room was dry lined and skimmed with new plaster throughout and painted prior to installation of new softwood hand built kitchen. Fitted all kitchen units and new natural stone cooker surround with hand carved tudor rose details within each pillar. Gas liner installed to accommodate new Rayburn.
New upvc window installed and all finishings i.e skirting boards,doors and decorating throughout

Church road kitchen renovation. All areas of renovation requiring building inspector approval were signed off by building control giving certificates.

• 1-2 Kitchen before renovation
• 3-4 After removal of old plaster and sand blasting to reveal all potential features.
• 5-6-10 Hand built softwood kitchen installation with oak work surfaces. New plaster and decorated prior to fitting kitchen. All new electrics to customer requirements, installed by Part P registered electrician, giving relent certificates.
• 7 Original natural sand stone flag floor, which was numbered prior to removal. Under floor heating pipes laid to manifold run via central heating system. Re laid flags into exact position and sand blasted to clean surface before sealing with anti glaze stain proof sealant.
• 8-9 Installation of new natural stone surround with tudor rose hand carved in each leg by local stone mason. New Rayburn installed by gas safe engineer giving relevant certificates.
